Services We Provide

After School Programs

Kindergarten through Middle School

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:00 -7:00 PM

Our After School Program is provided throughout the whole academic school year.

We provide students with tutorials and remedial support, enabling them to excel in their coursework. Our volunteers help students with tutoring and homework assistance. Along with this, we also encourage social and emotional development through games and other activities. Our focus for educational classes is currently on elementary and middle school students. We bring resources that will guide these students into a brighter future in high school. The goal of these classes is to bring curiosity alive within the students' mind. Albert Einstein once said that "I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious." We strive to make this class a good experience for the students.

Citizenship Workshops

Every Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Hope For Tomorrow Citizenship Workshops last three months. Additionally, we offer four workshops per year to ensure that there are multiple opportunities for applicants to get involved. Our team works with applicants who seek citizenship in the United States. We help participants with necessary paperwork, and provide them with techniques that will boost their confidence and ultimate success with citizenship testing.

Hope Summer School

The Hope Summer Program gives students hands-on learning opportunities with programs and topics ranging from Nutrition to Computer Science. We are excited to partner with Purdue Extension and 4-H to provide our students with fun and insightful experiences during the months of June and July

Naturalization Day

On a quarterly basis, Hope For Tomorrow partners with local civil legal aid organizations to provide free legal assistance to those seeking to become U.S. citizens. Volunteer attorneys participate in Naturalization Days to help students of the Hope Citizenship Workshops and other members of the community complete applications for naturalization

Night of Burma

Night of Burma brings education of the Burmese culture to the community. Educating the community about the Burmese traditional dress, native food, and dances that exemplify our culture. We hope that this event will bring us closer together as one larger community of God’s people. We also hope it helps spread understanding and appreciation of where we came from and who we are.  Hope For Tomorrow uses this event as an opportunity to fulfill our mission statement, "building bridges between the Burmese and American communities."
